| BNSF Railway 7626, having come from Los Angeles (with 7823 and 4902, as train B-LACLAC3-04) to drop off some baretable intermodal cars, is done with its work and is waiting for a pair of Amtrak trains to pass before continuing its journey. The first train to pass is Amtrak #572, a "Pacific Surfliner" led by F59PHI 451. A quarter-mile ahead is westbound Amtrak #769 and, once it passes, the B-LACLAC3-04 will switch back onto the main and depart westbound for a return trip to L.A. as a deadhead move. |
