MBTA at Canton Junction
The date August 1984 approximate from film I scanned. Judging from the looks of the dirt parking lot, its around 7 in the evening; Today its paved with metered parking. The train itself a Providence bound commuter train, with its 5 Boise coaches, which are de-motored RDC cars, with radiator hump removed and known for rough riding. The 1006 sporting 2 sets of markers by the number boards and low hood. Note the old New Haven Canton Jct sign. Tracks diverge for the Stoughton Branch at Canton Junction. The stone Canton depot itself was jacked and moved for the Amtrak electrification.
