| FORT WORTH TX May 27 1985 -- Missouri Pacific SD40-2 6009 bangs over the diamonds at Tower 55. EMD built the 6009 (s/n 766005-5) as MP 3225 in September 1976. On June 6 1986 it became UP 3909 and on Jan 28 2003 became WP 3909 to clear the 3900 series for the new SD70Ms. It was retired on Jan 30 2002.
