| WYNNEWOOD OK May 2 1983 -- Santa Fe SD50-2 5097 blasts south with a mixed freight. EMD delivered the 5097 (s/n 786219-27) in October 1979. The San Bernardino shops rebuilt it as an SD40-2u in April 1991 and it underwent maintenance at Morrison Knudsen in April 1984. After the BNSF merger it was patched and renumbered 6756. It gained BNSF Heritage 1 paint before July 10 2000. According to Russ Strodtz (on Yahoo group LocoNotes) it was renumbered BNSF 1637 On May 11 2011 .
