Train 212 soars across the Seneca River arm of Lake Hartwell in Clemson (aka Tigertown) on the former double track bridge, they are crossing from Oconee County into Pickens County on the track 1 side, track 2 was removed..

Carter Buchanan General Gosh, I am just now catching your comment. The other track was removed in the 1960's by Southern Railway when they were single tracking the Washington DC to Atlanta double track main and adding CTC instead. Oddly, in some spots between Charlotte and Greensboro, the double track has been rebuilt, but thanks largely to funds from NCDOT for passenger service. 11/8/2011 12:50:18 PM
