william davis	General	Wow, that's a long time ago. Back in the steam days no doubt. I had to wait 25 yrs to be born. I would've given anything to have graduated high school in the late 60's & early 70's & filmed all the railroads that aren't around these days. I grew up by an old L&N line that ran from Etowah, Tn. to Elizabeth, Ga. called the Hook & Eye line & remember solid L&N as late as the early 80's. I wish I had started using a camera when I was very young, because I would have some great L&N photos of high hood geeps & covered wagons running as late as the late 70's.	7/6/2006 1:19:52 PM
