That double stack three cars back of the locomotive set concerned me. The Hoosac Tunnel has a clearance of 19 feet six inches, which isn't enough clearance for a "standard" double stack. But this one was obviously right behind the engines, so it was a puzzlement to me. Photo #1 of the chase. Photo location is about a quarter mile west of the Fisherman's Lane grade crossing. |
