A much later 1923 E2a class Alco Pacific type loco when compared to #1574 listed earlier, this one carries the proud "Route of the 400" triangular sign on the front. It sported the 79" drivers and a solid 225 psi boiler pressure. Patrick McNamara (see comment below) identified the strange looking angling "canister" on the front above the faceplate as a sky light used to announce the arrival of the crack CNW premier passenger train.
