| Delivered in November of 1949 as the last NW2 for the railroad, #9248 served well and eventually was absorbed into the Burlington Northern line as #545. The switcher was finally retired in May of 1983. From the markings on the back, this is a recent reprint but no location, date or photographer was listed so the date is approximate. It's parked in front of a small roundhouse - doesn't look like the massive Aurora complex though. |
