J P General Actually, Jerry, this is a coal train comes from the Powder River Basin in Wyoming, and it goes to Plant Scherer just north of Macon at Arkwright. They run constantly, I've seen numerous southbounds (eastbounds, ie 734, 738) loads and numerous northbounds (westbounds, ie 733, 739) in a single day's railfanning. Coal coming from the Appalacian mines usually train NS power, like the trains that go down the C line from Brice to Plant Wansley. Also, as a side note, NS refers to this piece of railroad (Austell to Chattanooga) as the Atlanta North District, not the Atlanta Sub. 6/8/2006 10:44:29 PM
