ERIE 4-4-2 #535  Contributor's Pick!       
Built by the Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin) in 1905, this Atlantic type locomotive was a class E-2 with 76" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure & a tractive effort of 23,741 lb. It's class was rebuilt between 1927-28 from its Vulcan high pressure/low pressure configuration into simple expansion engines. Harold K. Vollrath photo
