I thought this car was a reefer but it apparently isn't. FGER 96177 is a plug-door boxcar, relettered from a previous owner (DT&I?) with two different fonts for letters and numbers. This car is part of an eastbound train on the former C&O in Huntington, WV, but the date is uncertain. Sharp eyes can spot the white lettering on the car's end. Edit: thanks to Randy for his insightful comment. |
