| This boxcar seems to have a case of split personalities, as it is lettered for both CNW and Rock Island. Joint ownership?? Not hardly. This photo was taken Labor Day weekend in 1981; the Rock by then was but a memory. CNW had acquired some of the rolling stock, and changed the reporting marks, but not painted out the Rock markings. |
