Past the detector  Contributor's Pick!
The EL detector at Campville, MP 230, was still in service til the mid 90s. If it was tripped, it would set signal 231-1 to approach, and light a "hot box" light under the head. I only saw it do that once, on a TV 303. Train 261 is passing the relay case for the detector as it works west toward Owego. Today's train has the typical pair of SOO SD60's and 66 TOFC.
