Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-8-2 Class O-1-A 4976 east of Denver, Colorado on April 19, 1952, photograph by R. H. Kindig, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 4976 was built by Baldwin in September 1923 (c/n 56972) and sold for scrap in June 1961.

dave flood	General	I may be among the few left who rode this wonderful machine. Bernie's book is dead-on right with locomotive assignments, listing 4976, 5061, & 5102 as McCook division. They spent time there being shedded at Oxford NE. When they worked the Oxford-Hastings way-freight, Mondy Wednesday Friday, I had the privilage of a cab-ride while they drilled the house-track at our village.	2/22/2015 2:51:13 PM
