BNSF Geep Trio  Contributor's Pick!
BNSF 2012, BNSF 2299, & BNSF 2042 power the local today as they head east on the BNSF Cuba Sub. with a short string of cars. After being held in Pacific due to track work they get up to speed as they approach Eureka, Mo. and will soon shuffle some cars around in Valley Park, Mo. before their day is complete. BNSF 2012 was originally built for the Rio Grande in 1969 as DRGW 3082 as a GP40. BNSF 2299 was originally built for the Frisco in 1974 as SLSF 444 as a GP38-2. BNSF 2042 was originally built for the Penn Central in 1971 as PC 7933 as a GP38. Pretty neat history between this trio.
