NS 8901 & NS 9672 idle in the lumber mill siding along the BNSF Hannibal Sub. as the sun sets in Old Monroe, Mo. Generally its a BNSF unit sitting here; but this pair of NS motors are 2 of the 3 units on a north bound loaded fertilizer train from North St. Louis, the train is parked near Mp. 45 in the Gibb Siding. The crew will bring an engine to town and park here to make for an easier crew change. Its nice to photograph something else in this siding other than the usual BNSF orange and a nice change as well for a night shot. |
