Chicago Transit Authority 6066 crossing the Chicago River at Wells Street in Chicago, Illinois on July 19, 1984, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The Wells Street Bridge is a bascule bridge over the Chicago River, in downtown Chicago which was built in 1922. The bridge was completely rebuilt 2012-2013. The Merchandis Mart is in the background, once upon a time, the largest building in the world.
