BRC 2-10-2 #5 - Belt Rwy of Chicago  Contributor's Pick!       
Long Santa Fe type 2-10-2 locomotive built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1918 originally for the Chicago & Western Indiana line but leased to the Belt Rwy of Chicago. This was a class C-1 locomotive. Specifics - 58" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine weight of 397,200 lb, tractive effort of 84,414 lb. Scrapped in November of 1950. No photogrpaher listed.
