F40PHR #245 is the lead engine on southbound train #11, the COAST STARLIGHT, which is preparing to leave King Street Station. At this time, the COAST STARLIGHT was still using steam-heat equipment; notice the ex-BN, nee-GN steam generator car converted from a B Unit behind the 2 F40's. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide. |
