Newark. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train near Newark, Delaware, on 27 March 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #4929, a GG-1 built in Juniata during February of 1943. It has just departed Wilmington on its way South to Baltimore and Washington with a 14-car passenger train. The time is 1:00 P.M. The siding visible on the left services a General Foods warehouse. |
