| Built by Alco/GE for the New York Central as their R2 class #1243 in June of 1931 (bldr #68271/11194), it was renumbered 343 in August 1936 and sold to CSS&SB in 1955. It was then rebuilt and repainted to serve the CSS as 704 in 1956 and finally scrapped in April 1976. Tom Ruddell slide |
