MILW 261 & CBQ 3006  Contributor's Pick!
During the 1996 annual Galesburg RR Days festival, two sharp looking locos stand next to each other. MILW 261, a 1944 Alco 4-8-4, was on display before heading up fan excursions at the festival. CBQ 3006, a 1930 4-6-4 Baldwin, is on permanent display at the Galesburg station. Both are excellent examples of steam in its heyday!
