Peter Hultgren General This is a great picture. I like the flagman looking at what I am guessing is the front brakeman as he poses. I am not from the area, but I tried a bit of amateur triangulation on Google Earth using the road signs. I can't pinpoint the location but geographically it would seem to perhaps be somewhere near Ardmore given the distances to Chester (11 miles), New York (100 miles) and what appears to be Media (7 miles). Wherever it is, it would obviously be well off the main line on a lightly used branchline. There is a US highway sign by the house, but I can't see a number on it. 3/9/2018 4:42:15 PM
Bill Young General Peter, the location is Township Line Road and Lansdowne, Avenue on the Upper Darby Township side of the road with the train heading into Haverford Township. 2/8/2020 4:32:55 PM
