Here is an original photo by Douglas C. Jones that was taken in Morris Park, New York, c. 1952. Photo taken from within the Long Island Rail Road's roundhouse; to the left is the turntable, then there's diesel-electric engine #454, and in the distance is the coaling tipple. #454 is an LIRR Class S-2 switcher built by the American Locomotive Company in 1949 and rated at 1,000 horsepower. #11 of 11.
