Tom Beckett	General	Excellent set of photos of an obscure line, though one that had a brief period of attention when it was one of the last holdouts for Pennsy steam. You mention that the location, among other things, is unknown, but this looks a lot like the area around Troy Pa, the second shot perhaps a little south of there, closer to Canton, maybe Minnequa. The last shot may be north of there, possibly closer to Columbia Crossroads, but all of these are educated guesses based on the assumption that the photographer is standing on, or near, PA 14, which follows the tracks pretty closely most of the way from Canton into Southport NY. If you drive PA 14 today in that area, you can see the right of way in quite a few places, though closer to Canton, you need to take PA 514 and Minnequa Main Rd to follow it. I think the Columbia Xrds station was still standing in the 1990's-I have not been back there in at least 20 years, so don't know its status.	10/12/2018 3:58:53 AM

Parade 1. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David Connor. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4258, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during July of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in September of 1942, and retired in September of 1959 after 36 years of faithful service. The date and the location are not recorded.
