Caption On Reverse: "Loaded with head-end revenue express cars, Pennsylvania RR GG-1 #4930 rolls through Leaman Place, PA, with a westbound passenger express. They looked kinda' black, but they were a special dark green, Brunswich Green, don'tcha know. 1962 photo." Photo by John M. Prophet III. #4930 is a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata during February of 1943, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and retired by the Penn Central Railroad in December of 1968 after 25 years of faithful service.
