Tom Beckett General Nice shot of the tower. There is yet again another plan to revive the building, which has been derelict(40 years) almost as long as it was open(50 years). A nit pick if I may: it's Buffalo Central Terminal. It never really was a true union station, serving the NYC almost exclusively; Pennsy did have a couple of trains that called there, something of an oddity, given their rivalry. Buffalo in its heyday was a large city, much more so than now, but for some reason, never had a union station handling all, or even most, of the passenger service that went there, which was significant up til about 1960, when the decline really accelerated. 4/14/2019 3:55:41 AM
