PRR 5351, K-4S, 1957
Coal Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, perhaps in 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5351, a K-4S built in Juniata during March of 1924 and retired in April of 1958 after 34 years of service. It was the last PRR steam locomotive to pull a regularly-scheduled passenger run: Pemberton to Camden on Tuesday, 12 November 1957. Slide produced and distributed by Americana Slides of Cupertino, CA.
