| Southern Pacific (Texas & New Orleans) M-10 class Moguls 462 and 463 and S-13 class 0-6-0 138 were parked next to the roundhouse at AVONDALE YARD, across the Mississippi River from New Orleans. The 138 was recently retired and would be sold for scrap three months later, while the 462 lasted another year and the 463 survived until January 1957. (approximate date of photo) |
