| A CN local approaches Garfield Ave. as it works at the northwest end of the former C&NW yard on Doty Island at Menasha, WI on 21 Feb. '20. The former C&NW depot/yard office stands at left. The station sign says Neenah but it is actually located in Menasha. The border between the Twin Cities is about 750 feet to the south (right). The depot/yard office was built by the C&NW in 1965 at a cost of $15,000. St. Patrick's Catholic Church can be seen in the distance above the depot/yard office. The spire of St. Thomas Episcopal Church can be seen above the locomotive's cab. |
