Here is page three of a 22-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "A Pictorial Review Of Progress On The Pennsylvania." It was issued originally in March of 1953. Top Photo, Partial Caption: "This is the New York-Washington-St. Louis 'St. Louisan' crossing the Little Juniata River in central Pennsylvania." Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #5901 and another unit whose number is not recorded. Both are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #5901 was built in September of 1945 and is presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. Bottom Photo: Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #9456 and two more units whose numbers are not recorded. All are FF-20's built by Fairbanks-Morse and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #9456 was built in November of 1947 and retired in January of 1963.
