PRR 5379, K-4S, #2 of 4, 1958         
Meadows. Here is the second of four successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by John Dziobko, Jr., that were taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine House at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, on 23 January 1958. Prominent here is PRR engine #5379, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1924 and retired in April of 1958. Partially visible at the left is PRR engine #4733, a P-5A (2-C-2) "Box Cab" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in January of 1933, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in March of 1964.
