| #286 arrives at Amsterdam. This train was seen 20 miles west in Palatine Br. Usually this would not have possible to capture at both places due to 70 MPH track speeds. Today, though the train had a speed restriction. This unit was repainted into Phase Vb in 2003 when overhauled. Then in 2016, it was overhauled and repainted into the Empire Service version of Phase III paint! 711 originally kept its nose numberboard until it was replaced with a nose hatch. |
