| Nice older reprint of Chicago Great Western 0-8-0 #315 yard switcher. The loco was rebuilt from a G-2 class 2-8-0 by the CGW shops in August of 1910 and reclassified as J-2. It was later upgraded to J-2s class. Specs - 55" drivers, 165 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" cylinders, engine weight of 179,000 lb, tractive effort of 39495 lb. The loco was finally scrapped in September of 1932. No information was on the photo so date and location are approximate. |
