BNSF 2076  Contributor's Pick!
GP38-2 2076 leads sister unit 2080 with a train of tank cars. The units were built in 1970, and were some of the first units to arrive new for BN. The unusual cars behind the engines are used for hauling large sub-assemblies of airplanes for Boeing. Today, they are being used as buffer cars. The second car, TBCX 777015, is one of 20 cars in the 777000 series. These cars were built to haul sub-assemblies for Boeing 777s from Wichita to Everett. Still frame from original video.
