| Caltrain 909 roars into Diridon Station with a southbound train. The F40PH-2CAT will soon be replaced by new electric trainsets. The first electric trains are due to arrive in mid 2021, and service was due to begin in mid 2022. However, there was a recent announcement by Caltrain that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the begining of electric service has been delayed to 2024. |
