| This view of Madison Mine #1, a Baldwin S-12, shows the fireman's/brakeman's side view. Note the open doors (I don't know why they were open) and the obvious plastic wrap secured with masking tape around the exhaust stack. Someone (whimsically?) had written "C&O MARK OF EXCELLENCE" in the dirt on the side sill! |
