Here is page 17 of a 28-page booklet entitled "Rail Guide To The Horseshoe Curve." It was published originally in 1976 by PC Publications of East McKeesport, PA. Partial Caption: "Two Amtrak SDP-40's lead the [eastbound] National Limited around the curve which will put it in sight of the Horseshoe Curve." Photo by Bill Metzger. Prominent here (L to R) are Amtrak engines #598 and #569. Both are SDP40F's built by GM-EMD. #598 was constructed in June of 1974, while #569 was built in May of 1974.
