PRR Lincoln Funeral Train, 1865         
WB. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 23 April 1865. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #331, a Class A (4-4-0) "American" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1865 and sold to E.H. Wilson in May of 1882. In this context, it's being readied to pull the funeral train carrying the body of President Abraham Lincoln. William E. Burket Collection.
