"World Famous Horseshoe Curve," Page 20, 1973         
Here is page 20 of a 64-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "World Famous Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, Pennsylvania Railroad." It was first issued in September of 1973. Partial Caption: "What an interesting group of motive power. Leading is an H-9, next a K-2, then a K-4. This train is coming up from Altoona, moving westbound to Gallitzin where probably the H-9 and the K-2 will be dropped. Believed to have been taken in 1925." Note the semaphore signals.
