Here is the front side of a "Vanishing Vistas" portrait that was published by Lyman E. Cox in 1972. Photo by Stan Kistler. Shown here is Great Northern Railroad engine #5011, a Y-1a (1-C+C-1) electric built by the American Locomotive Company in October of 1927, rated at 3,300 horsepower, and sold to the Pennsylvania Railroad for parts in August of 1956.
