| Somehow, this Amtrak MHC ("materials handling car") ended up in the St Louis Union Station collection. This car was one of the first MHC cars (material handling car) purchased from Thrall in 1986 to handle express packages on passenger trains and were built for high speed service (max of 110 mph). The cars were taken out of service in 2003 and sold off. |
