CNW 6819 meets its fate at the Relco shop   Contributor's Pick!
CNW 6819 was purchased by Relco at a UP auction in North Platte. It was towed to Proviso, then back to West Chicago. The EJE picked it up there and delivered it to the Relco shop in Minooka. Here the engine met its ultimate fate. Note tools of the trade at lower right. (Photo take while escorted by Relco GM, a C&NW alumnus.)
