Virgil Fitzpatrick General So the GE's get silver trucks and the EMD's get black I take it??? 10/21/2007 3:18:50 AM
Neil Stutzman General Fresh from Mid-America car no doubt. 10/21/2007 8:46:28 AM
Kenny Ravenscroft General The GE also has different yellow striping. They both are kinda neat but I think that EMD would look pretty cool in that GE paint. 10/21/2007 11:55:55 AM
Joe Magruder General I saw 6485 on Thursday, 10/18, sitting in front of Mid-America. The frame stencil said SD45-2M. I could be wrong, but my best guess from that stenciling is it still retains its 20-645E engine but has been derated to either 3000 or 3200 hp to save on fuel and engine wear. It's great to see an old EMD get a new paint job. 10/21/2007 10:35:28 PM
Steve E General The silver fuel tanks and trucks look good, paint 'em all like that ! 10/21/2007 11:02:46 PM
Joshua Baakko General Wide Cab units get a silver underframe. Standarc cabs get black. EMD wide cabs have two bottom stripes, GE, 3. The stripe thing is a continuation of H2 stripes, and H1 for standard cab units. 3/22/2008 11:50:16 AM
