This is Chicago Burlington & Quincy Class 05-A 4-8-4, built at West Burlington, IA shops in 6-1940. It was converted to an oil burner around 1950 as a Class 05-B engine. It has a tender capacity of 7,300 gallons of oil, and a water capacity of 18,000. It was retired by the Burlington Route in 1956 at Lincoln, NE. Stephen Gose General This is a locomotive, that the Age of Steam Roundhouse, should get hold of. They need some big hogs like this for their collection! 12/17/2015 8:12:22 AM
