MNN GP #1463 - Minnesota Northern |
| Description: |
Minnesota Northern GP9 #1463 sits in front of a short line of locos at the Otter Tail Valley RR engine house in Fergus Falls. With it is sister line Otter Tail Valley GP18 #181 and Minnesota Northern GP9 #1483. Originally built by EMD as Nickel Plate GP9 #533, it was merged into the N&W roster as #2533. It was later sold sometime in the mid-1980's to Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern as their #1463. Finally it ended up on the Minnesota Northern line sometime in early 2000.
