On the way up to the CMRR, we stopped in the tiny village of Accord and found the old railroad station still standing along the now abandoned NYO&W right of way. The wood station was constructed in 1902 and served trains on the Ontario & Western's line to Kingston. |

Cool Old Crossing Sign |
| Description: |
This unique diamond railroad crossing sign was found near the old station and caboose along the old right of way. Although very worn from age, the old lettering that once warned motorists of passing trains could still be seen in places. |

One of several cabooses on the Catskill Mountain roster and the only one in passenger service on the east end. The Pennsylvania Railroad constructed this car in 1941 at their shops in Altoona, PA and assigned it road number 477672. Passing through Penn Central and Conrail, it was later acquired by CMRR and restored in the mid 2000s for passenger service in the Kingston area. |

| Description: |
The Catskill Mountain Railroad's well known Alco RS-1 provided the power on the west end of the train this day. Built in Schenectady in 1950, about 70 miles from this location, for the Illinois Terminal Railroad. The locomotive later migrated to the Green Mountain Railroad of Bellows Falls, VT, joining two other units of its type for a few years before coming to the Catskills region. Now one of two RS-1 units on the property, and the only one that runs, the locomotive was constructed in the same city as the GE switcher on the other end of the train about eight years later. |
