"Baldwin Centipede," Page 35, 1967         
Here is page two of a two-page article entitled "Baldwin Centipede Production Model, Pennsylvania RR Class BP-1 3000 HP." Drawings by Craig Bossler. It was published originally in the February 1967 issue of "Railroad Model Craftsman" magazine, page 35. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania Railroad 5822-5829 Baldwin Centipede diesels road class BH-50, originally BP-1, swing light around the famous Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pa., in the early 1950's in pusher service." #5822 was built in February of 1948, while #5829 was built in December of 1948; both were retired in April of 1962 after just 14 years of revenue service.
