Servicing at Denver
UP 4019 takes on coal and water at Denver on Christmas, 1953. Note the 800-series number-plate. 4019 was the last of the original 20 Big Boys, built in December 1941. 17 and a half years later, on July 20, 1959, 4019 would make its last trip across the Wasatch to Cheyenne. It was scrapped on February 21 three years later in 1962. Obtained from Union Pacific Steam: Big Boy Portraits (Bush, Ehernberger)
